Your educational lead has provided a structure with some guidance for you to follow:

Section 1:
Outline the responsibilities relating to health and safety in the workplace. You should produce a question-based layout requiring the respondent to outline the 12 areas of legislation relating to health and safety in pharmacy services. The main areas are listed as:
(1) Health and Safety at Work Act 1974;
(2) Manual Handling;
(3) Disposal of Pharmaceutical Waste;
(4) Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH);
(5) Workplace Injury;
(6) Workplace Ill Health;
(7) Reporting of Injuries,
(8) Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR);
(9) Safe Working Environment;
(10) Safeguarding;
(11) Deprivation of Liberty.
(12) Provision for first aid at work. •
Section 2:
Review the standards and procedures relating to health and safety in pharmacy services. You should ask the respondent to produce a short account that will collectively summarise the effectiveness of the standards (such as the GPhC Professional Standards) and procedures (referencing the Standard Operating Procedures relevant to the learner’s own role in relation to health and safety). The summary should draw on evidence including strengths, weaknesses, alternative actions, relevant data or information.
Section 3:
Analysing the main health and safety responsibilities for groups. For this section you should ask the respondent to examine methodically and in detail, the main health and safety responsibilities for a (1) A pharmacy technician, (2) An employer, (3) Others in the workplace such as individuals, customers, colleagues and visitors.
Section 4:
Reflect on own compliance with Health and Safety procedures. For this section you should include your own reflection as an exemplar for respondents to follow. You should include reasons and examples, on own compliance with health and safety procedures, suggesting ways to improve your own compliance in the future. Respondents need to be able to record their own reflections in the workbook.
