Task A Scenario:
SportsDirect is a renowned UK-based retail company specialising in sports equipment, clothing, and accessories. Despite its widespread presence and success, the company has faced challenges with declining employee motivation, resulting in decreased productivity and staff turnover. As part of the managerial team, your task is to develop a comprehensive plan to improve employee motivation and create a more effective workforce. You have a team of 50 members of the staff. You are responsible for training, motivating, managing, and inspiring all of them. Some of the team members require training and personal development to perform better in their job roles.
Your assignment involves analysing your own personality traits and attributes, understanding the value of personality and perception in managerial relationships, and applying content and process theories of motivation to develop strategies for enhancing and maintaining an effective workforce.
