‘Researching Presentation Methods’

In this task, you will research how presentation methods used in interior design have changed over time. You will research examples from the past and in the present.

1. Choose at least 4 presentation methods from the list below:Rendered perspective drawings

• Detail drawings

2. Find one historical (before 1980) and one contemporary (after 1980) example for each of your chosen presentation methods. To do your research, use:

• Magazines
• Websites
• Journals
• Any other resources where you can find examples of interior design presentations

3. For each presentation method you research, compare a historical designer and a contemporary designer. Include the following information:

• The name of the presentation method and the year it was created
• An example of a historical designer who used the presentation method. Your example should include:

• The name of the designer
• An image of the presentation method that was made by the designer
• A description of the method being used
• A description of the type of design shown

4. Arrange your research findings in a table or visual diary.

5. Add a reference list to your visual diary to identify all the sources you used.
