2.1 You will be required to do a SWOT analysis, or any other analytical model, for evaluating the competitors and analysis of the current market trends. such as a PESTEL, Porter’s 5 forces, etc. for this section

This section in the report should include an analysis of the data that has been collected from various resources. This data might be represented through current market analysis, line chart, etc., The purpose of this is to showcase the data effectively for making an effective decision and better understanding. 

If appropriate, you may choose to use ‘Simons’ decision-making model.

2.2 Analyse the activities by using the various problem-solving techniques suggested and then come up with a proposed solution. The problem-solving technique may contain a number of steps that help to analyze the current problem(s)/likely problems to be faced by the business and then suggest /take the right measures to deal with the problems. (See the models suggested in the Assignment)

Defining the problem: for example, ‘Space-for-Rent’s’ main business problem is ‘Who are  the main market competitors in their area’?. As ‘Space-for-Rent’ is a new/existing company, you will have to define what area of business they are in.
