Your script should extract all fields available for each reported breach (including historical data). The fields may include 'Name of Covered Entity', 'State', 'Covered Entity Type', 'Individuals Affected', 'Breach Submission Date', 'Type of Breach', 'Location of Breached Information', 'Business Associate Present', 'Web Description' etc. Data Formatting: For each reported breach, create a separate JSON file.
The JSON file should be properly structured to match the fields obtained from the breach reports. Also, add custom JSON metadata to insert custom data per the below: Add “Date_Scraped” – Insert the current date/time Add “Category: OCR_Breaches_Archive or OCR_Breaches_Current This will be dependent on which dataset you are outputting at that time. Data Validation: Write a function to validate the structured JSON data. This function should check that all expected fields are present and that the values are of the correct type.
