Assessment brief:

 You must research and write a report on one of the companies from the list below. Each student will study a different company as agreed with the lecturer. The report should cover the following:

1. An overview of the current state of internationalization of the company, including identification of countries and markets where the company and its subsidiaries
2. Identification and evaluation of the modes the company uses to internationalize its business (such as exporting, licensing, joint ventures, FDI, and franchising ).
3. A discussion of the key challenges and opportunities facing the company in its international operations. You are required to include a discussion of ethical and governmental/regulatory challenges, economic/competitive factors and drivers, socio-cultural challenges, facing the company and its subsidiaries. Your discussion should focus on managerial decisions and implementation strategies.
