As a group give 20-minute PowerPoint presentation on the following (Between 10 to 15 Slides). Your presentation should involve all group members and be suitable for Further Education context.

a. Explain the purpose and reasons for working in partnership in your institution, for example GBS, or any other institution. (AC 1.1, AC 2.1)

b. Outline and discuss the aims and objectives of the partnership in learning and teaching. (AC 2.2)

c. Explain the roles and responsibilities of the people involved in the partnership in learning and teaching (AC 3.1)

d. Identify and describe the boundaries of the individual roles and task ownership issues of those involved in your institution partnership model (AC 3.3)

e. Summarise the potential contribution and impact of stakeholders and agencies to the partnership system in your institution (AC 3.2, AC 6.1)

Task Two (1500 words) – Individual work – Summative

a. Discuss and review various models of partnerships within Further Education (AC 1.3).

b. Review the opportunities and challenges of working in the partnership within Further Education (AC 1.2)

c. Explain the ways in which you can sustain the partnership and outputs. Outputs can  include what the partnership expects to achieve (AC 1.4)

d. Summarise the impact of key government policies and initiatives on the partnership in your institution (AC 6.2)

Support your Task 2 (a-d) with relevant literature.

Task Three  – Summative

a. Analyse the communication strategy of the partnership you have experienced and summarise the methods for effective communication between the partners involved. (5.1, 5.2)

b. Analyse your own communication methods and skills as a partnership member. (5.3)

c. Review how your partnership is managed and identify potential management issues. (3.5)

d. Review ways for your partnership to establish and maintain working communities of practice. (6.3)

a. What resource implications are there for your partnership and its individual members? (AC 3.4)

b. Justify why there is a need for realistic timescales and deadlines in effective partnership working (AC 1.6)

Task Five (Individual Work) – 10 Minutes PowerPoint Presentation Portfolio 

a. Summarise the performance indicators which your partnership uses to measure its effectiveness (AC 4.1)

b. Review the effectiveness of your partnership’s outputs (or achievements), using valid and reliable data which is available to you (AC 4.2)

c. Summarise the methods you have used to present the partnership’s outputs (and/or achievements) to other interested parties (AC 4.3)
