Unit Aims
Learners will learn the knowledge and skills to allow them to carry out a consultation, facial skin assessment and plan treatment for facial skin care. They will understand the steps and requirements for consultation, the methods and tools/equipment for carrying out skin assessment, the pros and cons of equipment used in skin assessment and how to analyse results from skin analysis into a facial skincare treatment plan. Learners will understand the actions and uses of skin care products and how to tailor these to specific skin conditions and client needs and be able to carry out a safe and effective skin care treatment.
