The client is the Lagro Group Ltd., a multidisciplinary contractor founded in 1962, operating out of several locations across the UK. No fewer than 23 limited sister companies are affiliated under the Lagro Group corporate umbrella. Whilst project work typically spans across the different ‘divisions’, these sister companies are independent legal entities. Yet, Lagro, the parent company, in theory, exercises supervision and control, influences how each subsidiary is run, and remains liable for a subsidiary’s negligence and debt.

Specifically, the objectives of the consultation are: to identify opportunities for (financial) waste minimization; to review and optimize operational cost drivers; and, to provide recommendations on oversight and control to improve the group’s efficiency and profitability
